Personal trainers provide in home, post acute, care as a means to decrease recidivism to the hospital setting, as well as improve functional independence. Our personal trainers act as a liaison between health care providers such as physicians, therapist (OT/PT/SLP), and caregivers. Sittercise personal trainers are trained to identify health related concerns that would impact a clients ability to engage in physical activity. Personal trainers are able to identify signs and symptoms of congestive heart failure, diabetes, stroke (CVA), and various emergency situations. Our personal are trained, understand, and have a keen eye as to when to call the physician or the emergency services.

Personal Trainer Services:
*Medical History (Allergies, Medication, Mental Health, Previous hospitalizations, Previous Surgeries, Etc.)
*Vital Assessment (Blood Pressure/Heart Rate/Respiration Rate)
*Obtain Objective Information
*Physical Assessment (Strength/Endurance/Flexibility/Balance)
*Safely Guided Exercise Program

Personal Trainer Qualifications:
*Certified (Preferred: ACSM/NSCA/ACE/ISSA)
*Preferred BS (Exercise Science/Kinesiology/Related Field)
*CPR Certification
*Completed Sittercise Older Adult Certification Program
*Liability Insurance
